Teamware Documentation

In this section you can find some Teamware documentation I've written. The role of these documents is to complement the official documentation available on distribution CDs and at www.teamware.com.

Here is the list of currently available documents. If you have suggestions or contributions, feel free to contact me.

  • Integrating Sendmail with Teamware Office (PDF)

This document will walk you through the steps needed in order to integrate Sendmail with Teamware Office. I wrote this document during my employement with Teamware Group and after a while it has been included in the official documentation set for Teamware Office.

Although it is not a replacement for the Sendmail documentation, this document will present all you need to know about Sendmail as far as the Teamware Office integration is concerned. Some of the topics covered:

    • Writing rulesets and mailer definitions in sendmail.cf
    • Using SMTP and torecvm for mail delivery
    • Relaying issues
    • Using LDAP directories for recipient lookup
    • Creating backup mail servers

  • Integrating Stunnel/OpenSSL with Teamware Office (PDF)

Using Stunnel and OpenSSL you can provide strong SSL encryption (128 and 168 bit) for Teamware Office services: SMTP, POP3, IMAP, NNTP and, of course, Web Service.

The document covers both TWO specific and general SSL issues - making it a good starting point for anyone interested in SSL. Like the previous document, this one I've also wrote while working for Teamware Group and has been included in the official documentation set. Topics covered include:

    • What is SSL encryption and how does it work
    • How to create SSL certificates: CA (Certificate Authority), server certificates, client certificates
    • How to use client certificates to access TWO services

  • Integrating Qmail with Teamware Office

This document describes how to integrate the Qmail SMTP server with Teamware Office.

The document is also available in PDF format.
